A felony murder for shooting a firearm was reported at around 21:30, Tuesday April 29, 2014, in San Buarque, rural White Sand in Rio Grande do Norte community.

The victim, 30 years old, resident of the community, was murdered about three shots from a firearm in a public road.

According to information from the Military Police, the victim was sitting on a sidewalk in the village when she was startled by two individuals who came on a bike and effected several shots in his direction.

Technical Expertise reported that he was hit from behind with no chance of defense. The elements fled after the criminal action without leaving clues for the police.

The police said the victim was involved in malpractices and was charged with petty theft and break-ins in the community.

The body was removed to the seat of the Technical and Scientific Institute of Police - ITEP in Mossley where it will be subjected to necropsy procedures.
