On the 18th August, near the village of Socorro, in Taquaritinga North, a 74 year old man was approached and asked for money. Presumably the car was at a stop.

The still unidentified miscreant (good word!) who stole several belongings of the victims, fired three shots fatally hitting the driver who died sat in the car. A girl who was in the Toyota was also shot but was sent to the Municipal Hospital of Santa Cruz do Capibaribe and survived.
