Dead blokes just have a very 'sameish' quality to them. Unless they died in some spectacular and unique way, they all sort of blend. Dead girls somehow manage to retain more of their 'originality.

Yeah, I have to agree. I've got no preference for one over the other, but females are more memorable. Especially (at the risk of sounding racist) when it is men and women of the same handful of countries I see so often.
