Update: The police have identified a suspect in this murder, this 42 year old ex-convict. He was free only 20 days after serving a long sentence for heavy drug charges when this young woman was murdered. Despite initial reports that she was executed for dating and reporting to a cop, the police denied that this was a factor in her murder. The current investigation report has identified this man as the one who orchestrated the killing. The report indicates that the motive was robbery and that the young woman was dragged off and murdered when she resisted handing over her purse and cocaine. I will note that this seems to conflict, at least partially, with statements that several of her friends made. It was stated multiple times that she was at a party and left in a hurry after getting a phone message. They still feel that she was set up and lured into an execution scenario for other reasons. The original eyewitness reports still stand: that she wrestled with her attackers and was pistol-whipped in the face, which caused her to stumble and fall. She was then dragged forcibly by her legs, screaming all the way, to an alley strewn with garbage and shot multiple times in the head. No idea whether the police have identified the right man or not. But they pointed at this guy and he has since fled and is being hunted for her murder.  · |

Thank you for the update! Something did not add up there because if robbery was really the motive, why was the cocain left at the crime scene. I keep seeing rumors being spread that this is the 21 year old mom that kidnapped her toddler son and was killed for revenge... I agree completely about the cocaine. Though, playing devil's advocate, it was only a small vial in the pocket of her shorts...so I suppose they may have missed it and just taken the purse and jewelry or something. It was a fairly public execution and there were several witnesses, so maybe they just didn't want to risk taking the time to go through all of her pockets and just grabbed the obvious stuff. On the other hand, the cops may just be looking for a quick result or they may be corrupt. She was quite well known in social media, with many thousands of followers, so there was some serious pressure to solve the crime. This guy may just be a patsy. maybe its a cover up for the dirty cop. Or maybe it really was just a random robbery and she got really unlucky. But still...nine shots (the number her mother gave, though the police said five) in the face? Seems more personal than a robbery. And yes, I've seen the confusion about that other woman with the choked kid. Some fucking halfwits at a rather less-reliable gore site put that fake story on their front page and convinced a lot of people that it was the same woman. Ridiculous.  |
