What I find most interesting about crimes/photos of this nature, as opposed to all others, is the fact that the perpetrator, in most cases, has posed/positioned the body of the victim in the way that they want them to be discovered/seen, as well as the fact that the crime scene photographer has done their part in conveying the killer's vision. The only other example I can think of where the victim is ‘posed’ to convey a certain message is in the cases of organized crime, where the perpetrator wishes to convey that this person(victim) is a ‘rat’ a ‘thief’, or ‘too ambitious’.
But in the case of the sexual predator, the killer’s canvas is a distinct melding of their personal psyche, resulting in the warped conglomeration of sex and violence from ‘their’ eyes, which is a great aid to investigators, and has helped herald in the age of psychological profiling. It is for this reason that I share/post these, for those who have a genuine interest in the study of ‘True Crime’, not for those seeking cheap thrills and/or an avenue to make immature sexual comments.
