Re: Severed Head of a Woman Found Yesterday
Maybe she complained about the local transit service, and they got just a little too worked up about it.

Re: Severed Head of a Woman Found Yesterday
For those wondering, the message says that this woman got this “por cobrar cuotas en el transporte público” (Mexican narcomensajes are usually written illiterately) meaning that this woman would charge a “fee” to people riding the bus, similar to a “controlador” (fare controller on a bus) charging “pasajes” fares, in the same way that a gang would charge a businessowner for “protection.” Gotta love the last part of the message: “allá arriba los espero” meaning “I’ll wait for you all up there” |

I believe that "bodyless head" is a much more accurate & informative description. Please aspire to do better in the future. This has been a public service announcement. |

Re: Severed Head of a Woman Found Yesterday
Again, I learned Spanish in the ER, although the spelling and writing are lousy - I get a much different translation. Hi. I"m Ely, the mother. See this happens to me to collect coyotes for transpotation. {from} a Spanish man in public I hope to let's go there. Or something. Note is choppy to say the least, but I'm sure of coyotes and slang Spanish man. What do you think? ] ] |

Re: Severed Head of a Woman Found Yesterday
Scream, the above translation I messed up dramatically, not thinking lack of education and lousy was trying to go into to much slang - which is more what I learned - and curse words. So no. . I translated I take back the mess. Note is choppy and I can't figure out some letters. I read cootas as coyotes or coots in English - left out not in the sure part. I read uya which I translated as slang man of country - anyway, the person above is much smarter and recognizes the misspelled words. Using his correct spellings the message is clear, but I still think the last line is "I hope" Anyway the post was great and I had a fine time trying to figure out the message. Sorry!!!!!!

Original Hola, soy Ely la machorra. Ésto me pasa por cobrar cuotas del Transporte público. Aya los espero allá arriba. [Atentamente], :-) Translation Hello, I'm Ely the ****. This happened to me for charging rolls on public transportation. I'll wait for you all up there. Sincerely, :-) Manhattan is correct about the overall meaning of it, for context. |
