Severe Head Wounds After Colombian Man Was Attacked with Machete and Stones
Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia A 25-year-old man, Dairo M.R.S., who worked as a dock labourer, was killed when a group of men, after restraining and knocking him to the ground, he was assaulted with machetes and stones. According to his family, Dairo, who had been drinking, had gone to the street corner to accompany a female friend to look for transportation to go home. However, two men appeared and took the friend's cellphone. Dairo attempted to defend her, but was made by the two men to walk to another street, where he was confronted by a group of around ten men. There, he was attacked mercilessly - being macheted on the head, before being beaten and stoned. Dairo leaves behind a one-year-old child.         |
