Here are 2 cases of, from what I know from the source of the images, suicide by poisoning by sodium nitrite.

It seems that this suicide method is very popular in Asia and start to be unfortunately also popular here due to some "guides" published online and even so called "suicide kits" containing an heavy amount of sodium nitrite.

Sodium nitrite can be found easily as it's a product used in food industry. However, at high doses, it's toxic.

Unfortunately what most people seems to ignore is that the death using this method isn't painless. Sodium nitrite prevents the blood to bring oxygen, so the person can still breath but suffocates slowly. Sometimes also vomits and bleeds from the nose.

Some methods suggest to take anti-vomitives first and even sleeping pills for make the death less painful.

At least the first of those 2 chinese women seems to have suffered as she seems to have convulsed a lot by her position on the bed. The last may have succeeded to die more peacefully.

Some more info. Sodium Nitrite is a common method mentioned on sites like SanctionedSuicide. This guy streamed his own suicide using SN. Looked miserable with him coughing up blood and laying uncomfortably in bed until he died. https://www.documentingreality.com/f...itrite-264048/

What's interesting with this case is unlike many Chinese sets, we have an alive picture and the lady clearly look the same
