A story a friend of mine who is an older gentleman has told me. He is a retired Buerou of Public safety official, he came to the US to attend his friend’s funeral. A friend who was the liaison to Hong Kong from Beijing during the jun 4th incident, better known to the west as “Tiamen Square Massacre.” Hong Kong was under British control then and there were also students protesting outside the Chinese consulate. His friend sympathized with the students and brought food/water to the protestors. For that he had to flee after the central government decided to violently crack down the protest. He had political asylum in the states until his death last year. He was never allowed to return home, after he was cremated there was 3 bullets among his ashes, bullets he received when he fought the Japanese in the red army. My friend smuggled his ashes back to China so he could be buried in the ancestral land.

So “her” story, is that a high ranking politburo member had an assistant who died of suddenly and was cremated before any autopsy was done. She had been the personal assistant for years. It was supposed to be discreet but pictures of her body was leaked…. Causing problems.

I imagine the old man was tired of her after 10 + years and wanted a younger woman… but that’s just my imagination. Also what a waste.
