Just about any security guard in the world could end-up like him. I served as a Pinkerton's security guard for Simpson's Lumber Mill back in the early 90s. Two weeks on the job and the mill laid-off / fired a huge number of workers yet the executives gave themselves raises. Sitting at Gate B - unarmed - a slew of cars showed-up and pissed-off workers got out, yelling and threatening to over-run the gate. Several of them were armed to include, but no inclusive of, Glocks, Colts, DEs, rifles and shotguns. I was scared shitless yet maintained the post and didn't say a damn word. The saving grace was when one of them yelled, "Get to Gate A; the main crew is there." at which they then took-off. Felt sorry for the Gate A guard who was there. |
