19yo girl was found hanging in her bedroom.

Her parents said she had tried to kill herself a month ago using farming chemicals, but they caught her doing it and took her to the hospital to pump her stomach.

This time around, she'd stayed out all night the day before and then had a row with her folks when she returned at 8 in the morning. According to her mother, she stormed off to her room and cranked the stereo up. They let her blast her music for 30 minutes or so and then went to tell her to turn it down. When they opened the door, she was hanging with a nylon rope. Her father went to the shed and got a machete to cut her down with while her mother called an ambulance, but she was already dead, probably for most of that 30 minutes.

Police are still investigating to rule out foul play, but the police liaison informed the newspaper that the initial visual exam supported self-hanging. He said that when they performed the exam, the ligature mark around her neck was consistent with a hanging suicide, petechiae were noted on her eyes, and her jeans were wet with urine.
