Schizophrenic Son Stabs Father Then Removes Head

A short video shows the moment when a son hacked off the head of his own father, aged 64.

The son, aged 41 and apparently schizophrenic, was caught red-handed (literally!) by the civil police late on Tuesday 06/05/14, after killing and then removing the head of his own father with a machete. He claimed to have committed the crime out of 'jealousy'. It happened in Rua Conde de Porto Alegre, in the town of Bela Vista.

A complaint was filed that a man was killed near a church in the city and when police approached the spot found the suspect carrying the head of his father in one hand, and in the other, the knife used in the crime.

The victim's body was found 100 meters from the suspect in front of the International Church of the Grace of God, with multiple wounds in the chest and the viscera exposed.

According to the deputy in charge, head of the Civil Police of Bela Vista, during interrogation the son claimed to have killed his father out of jealousy and the fact that the two have not had a good relationship over the past years.

"We know the real motivation of the crime only after hearing the family, since the accused has serious psychiatric problems and is totally changed, for not being in recent days on the continuous use of controlled drugs", explains the delegate.
