PHILIPPINES - On September 26, 2019, 53-year-old scammer M.A.D., who was recently released on bail, and a woman, 44-year-old V.G., were shot to death by motorcycle riders in Koronadal City, South Cotabato. I have an antemortem photo of the woman, but not of the man. I also intend not to include photos of the woman's mother being interviewed for safety reasons. Here's the Tagalog post I translated below:
Scammer who is recently released on bail and a woman shot to death in Koronadal.
KORONADAL CITY - The authorities are continuing their investigation regarding shooting in Koronadal City that killed two people.
The shooting happened in front of LTFRB-12 office at Gensan Drive, National Highway at around 12:30 this afternoon [September 26, 2019].
The victims were identified as V.G., 44 years old, resident of Agdao, Davao City, and M.A.D., 53 from Dasmariñas, Cavite and recently released from jail after posting bail.
In a Bombo Radyo Koronadal exclusive interview with Mrs. V., V.'s mother, her daughter processed M.'s bail bond, that is why they were together at the police station and then rode on a tricycle to have a lunch in Brgy. Sto. Niño.
According to tricycle driver "B.", the victims told him to drive faster because someone is following them, until he shocked that the suspects on a motorcycle wearing hood first shot the women who was riding on the back side of the tricycle, and then shot M.A.D. who was in the front side of tricycle.
"B." added that suspects were not satisfied, so they fired more shots to the victims when the woman was being broguht to the hospital.
V.G. was rushed to a private hospital, however she was declared dead on arrival due to gunshot wounds to her back.
It is known that M.A.D. was one of three scammers who are caught and were said to have bribed police officers.
