Re: Santa Monica Shooting

Noticed his handgun is a reproduction 1858 Remington (remember Pale Rider?), converted from cap & ball to .45 LC ($220 buys the conversion kit).

I have about 200 rds .40 S&W for my M96 Beretta, 1000 rds .22LR but only about 50 rds .357 for my Python.

I have several repro Cap & Ball revolvers, but .454 balls, powder and caps are to impossible to get too. Nice thing about C&B revolvers is they are exempt from the 1968 Gun Control Act and can be ordered through the mail!
No, lol.

Too much to carry.

Functionally, he really only had about 200 rounds because that's about all he could carry.

The cops were never going to let him pop off over a thousand rounds while casually sitting in the shade drinking a beer with easy access to his ammo stash.

Re: Santa Monica Shooting

I never leave the house without my wallet and cc gun.I pray I never have to use it but you never know.
We have just about everything in stock at the local sportsman's warehouse here, they limit what you can buy but its there.
I still hear from lots of people in other states who say they can't get anything, kinda weird
Finally being restocked in Texas, but in small quantities.
