well she killed herself back in 2009, but I only found out about it last year. she got pregnant at 13yrs old & after raising me for 9 months, the wonderful LDS church just couldn't keep their nose on their face any longer & successfully convinced my birthmom & her family that it would be best if she gave me up for a closed adoption. & so finding out last year that she killed herself in 2009, which was before I even turned fucking 18, was the most painful & infuriating piece of information I've ever learned. & I really don't know why I even typed all that out... oh well.. there it is, I guess. |

Oh wow, that's just terribly sad. She was just a child when she had you + then the religious nutters took over + ruined everything. Have you met your maternal grandparents? That's sad that you weren't even informed of her death until years later + that she was still only very young when she took her own life. Hopefully you ended up with a great adoptive family, but I guess you will always have many unanswered questions.

I did finally meet my maternal grandparents. it was an absolute emotional rollercoaster. I thought that this must be a small taste of what celebrities feel like, because I had sooo many people (strangers) just freaking out with joy that I was able to reconnect with my biological family (minus the one, of course. that stupid bitch) & just gushing over me & telling me about the memories they had with me before I went away. it was & still is just sooo surreal. & so completely fucking heartbreaking. as for my adoptive family, my adoptive mom died when I was 7yrs old. so....not a very good start to my childhood. because now I'm all fucked up. Lol. |
