That's what the report said, so I'm guessing yes. They probably didn't actively treat the guy because they assumed he was a junkie. In my many cyber visits to Cambodia, it's become evident to me that foreigners are seen as two-a-penny expendables. The online news sites report on westerners, who due to having lost or stolen passports/money etc, become destitute and live on the streets, often with homeless Cambodians. No one, particulary the police seems to help, but if you overstay your visa you get deported in seconds. I've seen photo's of Brits and Aussies 'spotted' living feral on pavements, as they have no ID, or insurance. The only people they appear to treat with more disdain is the lowly poor Khmer. There are some fascinating news stories, all reported in glossy, gorish and totally unconfidential detail. All the better for us here on DR! |

Definitely not track marks those look like suicide attempts even though they go the wrong way. Track marks are very different and appear along veins not in horizontal slashes. I'm a recovered addict and have some of my own to compare.
