This accident happened on 04/05/2008 in Kremenchugi (Russia) resulted in three deaths. The speed of Porsche Cayenne S was 129 MPH at the moment of collision according to the car's computer reading. One victim's body was separated into sixteen pieces.

A couple of things.

I really doubt it hit at 129mph, if it had that pole would've been leveled. Sure it's concrete, but put up against a 129mph 4 ton SUV I REALLY doubt it would've survived. Plus 129mph in an offset collision like that would've cause a significant amount of deformation in the passenger cage.

Also, SUV's lull people into a false sense of security with their size and insulation. Remember back in the 90's when people were saying their Ford Explorers weren't safe? Bullshit, they were driving stupid. That is exactly the case here.

It looks like the car hit those three people first as they were trying to cross the road or just walking by the road and later the car hit the pole. And the two men in the last two pics are the driver and his friend in the car.
