Re: Russia - Teenage Girl Found Strangled in a River
So they put crime scene photos in their news stories in Russia? Russia always struck me as a less PC, tell it like it is, kind of country. Maybe I was right, unless of course if they're talking about Putin, then they rein it in or wind up becoming a news story themselves.

17 = girl 18 = woman, But this legal age of adulthood various by country. And, of course, in Alabama and Mississippi, the age of consent and adulthood is 12. |

Re: Russia - Teenage Girl Found Strangled in a River
~ The News Report Translation: ~ In Astrakhan, just a few hours ago, a suspect was detained in the brutal murder of a schoolgirl girl with her hands tied the day before. ~ Quite by chance locals very quickly figured out the suspected culprit, giving first testimony to the police department on what is known by now. ~ Our correspondent is a kind of fishermen on the shore of the river. ~ This incident shocked all the inhabitants of a small village, with the body of a schoolgirl's hands tied behind the back, raped, before being thrown into the river. The identity was not established immediately. ~ She lived 50 km from the place of the murder, in the neighboring village, where her godfather had recently given his goddaughter a dog. She was cheerful and never offended. ~ It doesn’t look like a robbery since the girl's personal items money and a phone were there. ~ A police lead given, turned out that the schoolgirl was far from her house according to neighbors, that assured that they saw her that day in a car. The car turned out to be a taxi cab along with the driver, & 45 summer local residents had recently used this taxi cab. ~ The taxi cab driver had already been arrested for murder and rape. ~ He confessed that on the 22nd he saw a girl near the store and offered to take her home. He offered the ride and brought her to the northern bank of the Volga River near the village of Chagan Kamyzyaksky district of the region where he raped her and tied her hands, then dumped her in the water. ~ It remains to be seen why the schoolgirl sat down with him at all. ~ And why she did not live with her mother whereas she spent all the time at the home of her Godfather who made the emergency call. |
