In all seriousness, don't run away from dogs! Stoop down to their level, passionately shout, scream, or growl a command with all your conditioned, emasculated, gut can muster and maybe she'll decide you really are her equal and not for dinner at the moment.

Worked fine for me once when I was sleeping in a Siberian Forrest and a curious bear dropped by to sniff who deared to sleep in her territory. The stray dog who stayed with me since a few days duck away behind me and didnt made a sound, so instead I made the Growling warning a dog would give from the bottom of my gut.. Causing the bear to run off But it was September so the bear is full of berries and not hungry at all.. Guess in spring I probably would have made it to D.R.  |

You see a wolf, you wanna see it closer, you provoke it with food. It learns humans will give you food, the next person it sees wont have a fucking clue why this wolf wont leave them alone or is attacking them. Its always a case of some stupid ass feeding them that gets somebody else attacked.
