Russia - Man In Hospital Dies After Setting Himself On Fire
"Terminally ill man sets himself on fire in hospital O., 53, was diagnosed with COPD (lung disease when it is impossible to fully inhale and exhale). He was in a hospital in Novosibirsk. Doctors were about to release him, but, according to the patient, he had nowhere to go. Before the fire, he smeared himself with oil and covered himself with toilet paper. The fire area was 1.5 meters. The fire was extinguished before the arrival of a special team. The man died during the fire. The police believe it was suicide."  ·

Fortunately there can't have been any oxygen nearby (which with COAD would have been needed bizarrely) else the whole hospital would have gone boom!  |
