Oof, brings back some memories.. I think it was around April a lone occupant in his car smashed into a concrete divider where a highway near me divides into a 4 lane and he caught fire too. We were dispatched at 4AM to the scene after everything had been extinguished. I can vividly recall the smells and sounds of trying to pull this crispy guy who had somewhat melted into his seat out. And like the burning wasn’t even all over, there were fleshy and squishy parts along the back of his arms, and bum and stuff but his face was absolutely charred and unrecognizable.. and it was spooky dark out with these floodlights just pointing at the car. I shudder remembering that pot roast of a removal so I sympathize with the funeral home staff who had to get those three out..
