The men, reported to be homeless, were murdered on 5th July 2021. Their bodies were found the next day.

In Ryazan, two adolescents registered in a mental hospital brutally massacred two local residents after they were denied receiving cigarettes. 17-year-old 'T' and 16-year-old 'R' first beat 50-year-old A.S. and 49-year-old D.M., and then threw them, still half-dead, into a nearby reservoir.

During interrogation, the teenagers explained that they were offended by the words about the dangers of smoking, which the murdered men told them.

“They told us with obscenities that smoking kills. Well, we killed them, too,” 'T' said to the investigator.
