Russia - 2 Hunter Friends Out Camping Were Struck by Lightning
On 3rd July 2020 in Khakassia (Russia), 2 hunters died when they + the tree they were under were struck by lighting. The 2 friends, aged 34 + 35 years, had gone camping + planned on returning home 2 days later. When the men failed to arrive back to their homes, their relatives raised the alarm. On the 8th, their bodies were found.

Agree. It's hard to feel sympathy for the men since they were out there to kill innocent animals.

Interesting, the second guy seems to have been hit by a minor branching lightning arc directly to the head, while the first guy doesn't seem to have any injuries at all, seems like his heart stopped after he was electrocuted indirectly

wannabe big men hunting animals with assault rifles. a real sportsman uses a bolt action, high powered rifle. there is no challenge if you can just blow the animal away with a barrage of bullets. |

Those are Saiga autoloading shotguns. Hunters can't have assault rifles in Russia, lol.
