Runaway Truck Runs Over 3 Women.
A runaway truck hit about 15 people who attended the procession of the Dead Lord, around 16 o'clock this Friday, killing at least three of them, all women, according to the Mobile Service (Samu). The accident occurred in front of the Control Center Foundation of Oncology, State of Amazonas (FCECON), on the Dom Pedro, Midwest Zone of Manaus neighborhood. The victims were admitted to the hospital and emergency room August 28, at Adrianople district, South-Central Zone. The Military Police said more than 2000 people followed the procession, realziada the Parish of Our Lady Queen of Apostles. According to the Institute of Municipal Engineering and Traffic Authority (Manaustrans), the truck lost the brakes on a slope.
