First of all, it was not a protest it was a riot with a bunch Marxist punks trying to burn down the city and attacking anyone that gets in their way. Second, I don't know what trial you have been watching, but I too have been watching this trial closely and it is without question a clear case of self defense. If anyone was cocky it was the punks that targeted Rittenhouse and attacked him when he was armed. Who does that? Talk about cocky. Third, had the police been permitted to do their job instead of being told to stand down then this tragedy probably would have never happened. When the police are not there to stop the rioting and protect property then citizens of all ages are going to step in to fill the void and protect property and their city.
