The progress that pointer students have made in their study, works the same as with martial arts, you have belts made of different colors.

WHITE belt


DOUBLE pointer AKA undecided pointer: he's so undecided that he points to the body with TWO hands. That's a no-no for a PTP
However, both the students above, earned the white belt because they were looking straight at the camera.

YELLOW belt


CURVED pointer: he correctly kept his left hand behind, but the curvature suggests that he's unsure about what he's doing.

Here you can clearly see that he belongs to the yellow belt rank.

BROWN belt


The man knows what he does. That's just a step before the highest level, the black belt.
His nonchalance suggests that this is not the first time that he points somewhere, the man is trained.

BLACK belt
