Re: Rio De Janeiro Train Suicide
I don't think he was beaten. He has a good amount of blood on his face but that could have come from when the train hit him. There are no other bruises or injuries to either his face or the rest of his body to indicate a fatal beating. His head could have been hit by the train as well, if he was laying there with his head up so he could see the train coming for him. To me it looks like his face was splashed with blood. It doesn't look like there is any blood on his neck, which indicates to me that he had is head up tucked against his chest when the trian hit him, cutting him in half and splashing his face with his blood.

Re: Rio De Janeiro Train Suicide
The biggest amount of bollocks I have ever heard! Most track-side fatalities occur in the 4foot (place between 2 running rails). 99% of the time they stand there. This one wouldn't have been laying over the rail as the flange from the wheel set would make a nice clean cut throughout. The reason why his head is red like that is down to the way he was struck by the train. Its a dead give away that its been a glancing blow where he has been hit at pretty high speed and then thrown in a direction. Red faced because of the forces that the body goes under when being hit like this forces pretty much all blood vessels in the face to burst. Also I would be red face embarrassed too if I did something like this! hahaha EDIT: Also, think about it. 750 Tonnes of rolling steel at an average of 90mph....If the stock comes into contact with your head at that speed, it will be liquidised! You will not even find skull fragments. |
