Rider 58 Dies After Being Hit on the BR-304
On the morning of Monday (20) a cyclist died after being hit by a vehicle on US-304 near the city of Upanema. According to reports from witnesses, the victim, 58, tried to cross the highway when he was surprised by a Fiat Uno. With the force of the impact the victim was thrown and succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. According to the military police, the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene without providing relief. The victim's body was collected and sent to the Technical and Scientific Police Office (ITEP).  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
