Retired Cop Kills Wife and Then Himself
Bit of a May-December romance here, this 55 year old retired police officer labored with insecurity and jealousy regarding his 26 year old wife. Her family all maintained that he was wracked with violent jealousy and often surreptitiously followed and stalked her any time she was out of the house. Eventually, convinced that she was cheating on him (and maybe she was-the articles did not confirm), he took her to a hotel under the auspices of a romantic night together and then shot her in the head as they lay in bed together. Immediately thereafter he put his arm around her and shot himself once in the head as well. He used his service revolver for both kills.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
