It's not that simple. I'm in the USAF and was in Desert Storm. Trust me, the politics involved are intense and nuking the place, as much as I'd like to is out of the question.

The best thing to do is leave. Vietnam didn't make us look weak? Look how many people we lost there before we left.
They're a bunch of savages, for the most part. Let them kill each other, instead of US citizens.
Have you been in a war, in a close combat situation? Have you seen friends die right in front of you? I have. It sucks to no end.

Getting the fuck out now is the best thing to do. IMO.

I've never been in close combat but I've seen death, my family is a family of MARINES and my boyfriends family as well, I know how they feel and I see what happens when they are off at war and come back, but not ONE thinks we should leave, why is that? I didn't mention every reason why we should but those are the common sense reasons, but as I've said before, everyone has their own opinions xoxo!

All I'll say is it's a war we can't win. Bush went after Saddam because his dad couldn't get him in the first Gulf war. There were no weapons, he just wanted Saddam. And he got him.

Our presence there will not change the way they go about things.

Iraq should be left to themselves. The real enemy is the Taliban and Al Queda in Afghanistan.
I'm all for still going after Bin Laden. That's where the terrorist threats on the US lie anyway for the most part.

Iraq....we should leave.
