Re: Recent Murders
"Since 1993 thousands of Mexican women have been systematically abducted, raped, tortured and killed, and those responsible for the crimes have largely remained free. Carlos Reyes-Manzo documents in images and words a terrible and touching situation that shows no sign of abating." i remember seeing this lot of pink crosses where women and even small children were burried due to these types of crimes, on an amnesty international show. very disturbing actually. |

Re: Recent Murders
These girls were probaly associated with a rival cartel, maybe an exgirl who went with another dude (another druglord) This was not a carjacking - Evidence car is still there, plus carjackings only happen to gringos, |

Re: Recent Murders
Not anymore it doesn't - the mexican media has been covering a buttload of joy-jackings of attractive mexicans not involved in anything bad, ending in murder - just like in the US, car jackings often are not about stealing the car anymore, but about getting some innocent people to have fun with - fun in these cases being terrorizing them, maybe getting a little, then killing them as the ultimate 'thrill', and not bothering to take the car after, as it's more of an evidentiary liability than it's worth...this just doesn't look like a drug related killing, as those tend to involve leaving a message of some kind.
