Recent Indonesian Suicide
18 year old girl was found hanging by her parents when they returned home from work around 7pm. She had last been seen by her siblings about 2 hours earlier. No direct motive was listed for her hanging. The police liaison told the newspaper that the scene investigation verified suicidal hanging as the method of dispatch. Specifically, he stated that the ligature mark matched the rope around her neck, that her tongue was protruding slightly from the pressure of the noose, saliva and mucus were present on her chin and chest, and that the presence of urine was noted on the front of her shorts, her underpants, and on the floor under her body. She had also hand-written a short suicide note in a nearby notebook apologizing to her parents and brothers, but not giving a reason for the suicide. Heh, yeah. Not entirely sure WHY they 'seized' it, but the article indicated that they did.

The chair was used in the "act" and maybe it was "soiled" in which case it could be considered evidence? So they confiscated it.
