1. In a rural area of Cauca, Bolívar, Colombia, a 38-year-old plainclothes officer, Edgar E.D.M., was driving towards the hillsides to deal with a matter relating to the purchase of land, when he was intercepted and kidnapped.

Hours later, his body was found - he had been shot dead in the head. Police suspect that Farc dissidents were involved in the crime, but it is possible the purchase of land was also related to the motive.






2. In Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Pernambuco, Brazil, a motorcyclist died after falling off his vehicle whilst attempting to overtake a garbage truck on the right. The truck then ran over the motorcyclist.



3. In Paulo Afonso, Bahia, Brazil, a man was brutally murdered with hoe blows to the head. The man suffered from mental health issues, including schizophrenia. The motive remains unclear.



4. In the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a police chase ended in a shootout, leaving one man dead and a woman injured.

According to the Military Police, the action began after officers from the Special Roads Policing Battalion attempted to stop a Jeep with São Paulo license plates, the driver of which was acting suspiciously. The driver failed to stop and fled.

The chase ended in Penha, where a bus blocked the vehicle's path. During the approach, the police car collided with the suspect vehicle, followed by an exchange of gunfire. The criminals fired at the officers, who returned fire. At least ten shots hit the Jeep's windshield.

It is thought the woman, who was seriously injured, was the victim of an attempted robbery. Another armed man in the Jeep managed to escape. Inside the car, officers found more than 1,300 rounds of ammunition and rifle magazines.






5. In Belo Monte, Alagoas, Brazil, a motorcyclist, identified as Leonardo, was driving a motorcycle with another man when he lost control and fell, after which he was run over by a truck.

6. In April 2013, in Pattaya, Thailand, a 45-year-old Australian tourist, Mark A.W., died after falling from the 21st floor of a sea-view condominium.

A security guard noted that Mark seemed to be intoxicated as he stumbled into the condo for the final time. A camera was found besides his body, which led police to believe that the drunken Mark may have been attempting to take landscape photos when he fell. The possibility of suicide was also brought up.

Guy #4 literally got his brains blown out. The empty hole in his head and his brains sitting on the rear parcel shelf.


And the guy’s face in #5 is hardcore gore. The position of his teeth and lower jaw sticking through the skin really show incredible, fatal trauma. His eye is pure bonus material. We can withstand a fair amount of damage but that’s the ultimate end of things. We are very squishy.
