Rebecca Dykes: British Embassy Worker Murdered in Beirut, 2017
On the night of December 15-16, 2017, Rebecca Dykes, 30, a British diplomat and programme manager at the UK embassy in Beirut, was killed. After collecting her following a night out in Gemmayzeh, her Uber driver tried to assault her, strangled her with a rope, and left her body beside the Metn highway outside Beirut. He confessed after being arrested and received a death sentence in 2019, which remains uncarried out because of Lebanon's execution moratorium.  ·  · |

Her name was Rebecca "Dykes". The perpetrator was a taxi driver, who was apparently obsessed with her. Jodie Foster had a major supporting role in Taxi Driver. Robert De Niro played a taxi driver who was also obsessed with Jodie Foster's character. Jodie Foster is a "****". If I were you, I'd keep a close eye on Foster in the coming days/weeks/months. She knows something. Just what nobody knows. |
