Rape Victim Shot to Death in Cebu City, the Accused Later Shot Himself to Death
PHILIPPINES - 35-Year-Old R.N. accused Police Staff Sergeant C.C. of rape and extortion. In the late afternoon of April 19, 2021, the former was shot to death along N. Bacalso Avenue at Bayanihan Village, Barangay Basak Pardo, Cebu City. Later that evening, the latter shot himself dead inside the restroom of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, also in Cebu City. I don't have the antemortem photos of the accused, but if you have some along with some unseen crime scene photos, please contribute or reply to this thread. She was allegedly part of a drug group based in downtown Cebu City. She was shot dead by unidentified assailants. Before she was killed, she accused 11 policemen of Sawang Calero Police Station of extortion and rape. One of the accused, Police Staff Sgt. C. L. C, allegedly committed suicide at the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit office hours before she was gunned down. She was in a love triangle with C.L.C. Her live-in partner is in jail because of illegal drugs. She refused to be part of the police witness protection program. She also had police escorts, but she seemed to not trust the police. received a lot of complaint against the 11 policemen, but nobody filed cases against them. Police received a lot of complaints against the 11 policemen, but nobody filed cases against them. She was among three victims claiming they were tortured by the police officers inside a secret room at the Sawang Calero police station. On April 6, the secret room wasn't found after the CHR in Central Visayas attempted to inspect the police station. Meanwhile, police maintained that her death has nothing to do with C's alleged suicide. Bet those cops killed her and he knew about what was coming and offed himself or was helped doing so. |
