2. In San Juan de la Maguana on 31st March 2018, 36 year old Rosibelis Pérez Beltre died. She was travelling home with her husband + child when the vehicle crashed. The man + child were taken to the hospital.

4. In Las Cabuyas on19th March 2018, 2 men were lynched who had allegedly killed a merchant in the middle of a robbery in the community of Las Cabuyas, La Vega.

Apparently, the 2 unamed men killed Henry Hernandez while he was riding a motorbike to the bank. He was shot dead when he refused to hand over money.

Residents of the community went after the 2 men, who fled to a farm + entered a house. The residents dragged both the men from the house. Both men were attacked with sticks, stones + knives. One of them was burned alive.

6. On 16th March 2018 in Santiago de los Caballeros, Harlyn Franklin Reynoso Osoria took his own life. Harlyn who was a police officer, shot himself in his head. He left a suicide note but the contents were not disclosed.
