A man, from Canoas, was found dead in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul state, this past Wednesday (1). The body was located in the South Zone of the capital.

According to information from the Civil Police, parts of the body of the victim, who has not yet been named, were distributed in three plastic bags. The crime will be investigated by the Homicide Police. The victim was wearing an electronic bracelet, and there were no bullet perforations.

One hypothesis of the police is that the way the man was found could be a message to a criminal group. The street where the body was located, includes a stretch of Vila Cruzeiro, a region that was the stage of a faction war last year.
