Re: From PYSIH: John Patrick Violette, a Schizophrenic Who Heard the Voice of God
So, why are we wasting money on trying to preserve the lives of people with degenerative mental disease, especially when they have already taken the life of one innocent, and are capable of taking the lives of others? Seems like a reasonable time for humane euthanasia to me.

strange, if you could post that vid, it'd be a great way for people to semi stand in those people's shoes and see what it's like. i mean, WE can turn it off if it gets annoying. THey can't. and there is the difference. I'd love to hear that vid just to emphathise a little

Re: From PYSIH: John Patrick Violette, a Schizophrenic Who Heard the Voice of God
He's a very sick person and I have met and got to know several people that were found NGI(not guilty by reason of insanity)after murdering a family member. They're not just let go. A lot of them will be in state facilities at least 20 years and that's only if they show serious signs of improvent. Many will never get out and a few I met were institutionalised and never wanted to leave even if they could. It's pretty sad really but it's better than condeming someone who made a choice to kill with a extremely damaged and malfunctioning mind.
