Prisoner Chopped Up in Brazil
September 8 2020 - Brazil. A prisoner was killed and chopped up at the Canoas III State Penitentiary. The murdered prisoner, Lucas Iago Rodrigues Fogaça, 25, was serving time for robberies and had no connection with criminal factions. He shared the cell with seven other inmates. The crime took place before dawn, but was only noticed by prison staff at dawn. According to reports passed on to the Civil Police, parts of the victim's body were inside a garbage bag, tied to the cell window grid. The team of Chief of Police Thiago Carrijo, of the Civil Police, interrogated all occupants of the cell and in less than 24 hours discovered the perpetrator of the crime, who confessed to the murder. He is a 25-year-old boy convicted of robbery and who also accounts for eight homicides.      |
