Re: Pretty Young Woman Found Naked and Gagged
A slight upward angle to hit the sella turcica and you’ve got a hole roughly that size and location with a smaller caliber, too, though? Or did my brain fart again?

Re: Pretty Young Woman Found Naked and Gagged
No you have a valid point but it it is possible I have not seen it (doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen) I have however seen bodies shot with handguns in the .45 and .40 cal range ie 10mm in that region that produce entry damage similar to that the only reason I would think 9mm wouldn’t (and hear me out) is because it is such a fast moving round the entry would be so quick there would be little time for compounding damage upon entry typically there is not even a considerable difference in entry and exit with such high velocity rounds. A .45 is subsonic already so it’s FPE is huge there have been people killed who were hit in non life threatening areas by .45 because its payload is so dynamic. Though the .40 is a high velocity round it too has a pretty serious FPE so is capable of making such an entry wound

Re: Pretty Young Woman Found Naked and Gagged
@SOIC So, basically, no 5-7s for head shots? ;) Assuming your background is martial, I’d imagine the location and angle I suggested rarely comes up. Rather a narrow window to go with on a restrained target when “anywhere” will get the job done just as well. I couldn’t say, that region was just the first thing that came to my mind, given the fair amount of blood exiting the neat entry wound. |
