Pretty Woman and Her Mother Murdered
Several citizens participated in the murder of two women (mother and daughter) found in Caiza Park. One being Douglas Manuel Cartagena, 27, who was the former boyfriend of the girl and his accomplices. Oriana Monasteries and her mother, Joaquina Alsina Sanchez, 52, were killed and burned by the perpetrators on 24 February. An official said the motive was the alleged theft of 32 thousand dollars in cash that she Oriana (daughter), 20, had saved to buy a house and a car. The four citizens identified and required by the Cartagena CICPC are Giomar Alejandro Alcantara, 24, applied for vehicle theft in Barquisimeto, Lara state, and with whom Oriana monasteries held a girlfriend of four years, Luis Enrique Molina Cartagena, 23 , brother and cousin arrested a former boyfriend of the victim; Glend Escalona William Ojeda, 21, with convictions for theft in Barquisimeto, and Julio Cesar Hernandez Grisel, 19. Douglas, who was captured Tuesday night in La Victoria, Aragua state, confessed that Giomar Cartagena Alejandro Alcantara ( another former boyfriend of Oriana) contacted others involved in orchestrating the robbery. The robbers demanded to go into the home of Oriana. When they gain entrance to the building the robbers go up to the apartment to tackle the mother of Oriana. The others are in the car waiting. The others involved in the crime, who knew of the existence of 32 thousand dollars and the place where it was kept, met in the building to run the theft of money. That's when, apparently, Oriana recognized one of the voices to be the cousin of her ex-boyfriend. Oriana made the mistake of calling his name and asking him why he was doing it, whereupon the group met to decide what they would do, they decided they could solve it by killing the girl and her mother. Subsequently, the two women were taken to a vacant lot near residences Caiza Park, where they shot oriana and her mother before spraying them with gasoline and burning the bodies. The official said the search efforts of others involved in this crime has shocked the public. Furthermore, investigations seek to determine whether this criminal group is linked to other homicides and related crimes where also abandoned bodies earlier have been found burned.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
