I've seen couple of bog bodies in the British Museum

Interesting. I watched a documentary about the Haraldskaer Woman. They originally thought she was Queen Gunnhild of Norway who was ordered to be drowned in a bog. They were about 510 years off when carbon dating proved the Haraldskaer Woman could not have been the queen. She is still resting at Saint Nicolai church where she had been entombed as the queen.

I read that somewhere. Still pretty amazing though, getting to glimpse at someone of the past and how much detail is still left.
