Re: Preserved Head Of A Serial Killer In A Jar Since 1841
The thread about the preserved Serbian head in the sticky section part of this forum reminded me of something similar I read a while ago. Diogo Alves was supposedly Portugal's first serial killer. He was executed for his crimes and his head preserved. It still looks remarkably life like today. Why Portugal Has Preserved The Centuries-Old Head Of Serial Killer Diogo Alves The Story of Diogo Alves: A Lisbon Serial Killer |

Do they sometimes add liquid in the jar? In some photos the level seems low, but in one it's almost full. Does it evaporate over time and needs to be topped up?

What is that first image supposed to be? This guy in life? Cuz that picture looks like a guy who died in the 1800's. The head in a jar looks it came of a modern pedophile last thursday. That head does not look like it belonged to the gentleman in the image. weird |

I thought exactly the same thing. The first image indicates alive eyes (or maybe glass), but in all the rest of the photos, the eyes are looking downward, and his lips are pressed against the glass. The first guy is not the guy in the rest of the pics.
