That depends how it is. This baby looks quite "old", so it can actually survive like it survives a seesection (my neglish is bad, so is my english =)

A baby survives a c-section because it is cut from the mothers body and brought out. If a baby is left inside a mothers body after she dies, the baby will not get any blood flow hence no oxygen. The baby could survive 5 minutes or so once the mother has died before It would die due to lack of oxygen. There is a chance the baby was delivered after the mother died via the vagina. Its happened, but i doubt it. The baby does look full term though. There is no vernix on the body.

What the photos look like to me is that her abdomen is extremely mangled. I do not see how a baby in said abdomen could have survived with not even a bit of trauma. If you look though, it looks as if when they lifted her body, the baby was under her or fell from her.

I cannot find anything online about this story. Who knows if it is true.

The baby looks dead Yeah, you can see what's called 'cyanosis' (when features turn blue). Plus I don't think they'd photograph him lay on gravel. Really sad pictures
