On April 21, 1998, the lifeless body of seventeen-year-old Shauna Maynard was found near the intersection of Blue Diamond Road and Decatur Boulevard in Las Vegas; she had been kidnapped and shot to death. Her killer has never been found as of 2017.
On August 21, 2017, an anonymous user on 4chan's /b/ board posted that he had killed several women and wanted others to guess who he has killed, and in return, he would lead them to a body that he dumped in 1999. Eventually, when another user guessed a name right, the alleged killer posted pictures of a young woman on the thread, both when she was alive and deceased, and implying she seemed to enjoy being with him before her demise. Several users banded together and found that the woman was Shauna Maynard, whose killer had never been caught. Although the FBI became involved, the user has not posted anything else since then and has not been identified.

Awhile back my mom worked at a photo lab in los Los Angeles called Fox photo(this was in the mid 80's) she said the police and homicide detectives would use them to develop photos of crime scenes, death investigations and car crashes. She would always tell us about the horrible pictures she's forced too see because she had to make sure they developed correctly and didn't get damaged by the machine. If one did she would have to make another one and the bad one gets destroyed..unless one of the workers takes it home...so it is very much possible for someone to have crime scene photos that were never supposed to be seen outside of the homicide department and definitely wouldn't be available for reverse image searching

They look real. Obvious rigor mortis and lividity. You can see a picture of a woman next to the one of the man. It appears to be the same woman covered in blood on the bed but with her bra visible. Would law enforcement interfere with clothing at the scene? There are so many unsolved homicides in the US. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was genuine.
