Re: Postmortem Animal Predation on Woman's Face by a Domestic Pet
It is always exposed, and it is very very soft. Whilst tissue upon the chest of women, and generally upon the torso of overweight people of any gender is also soft and attached to more adipose tissue between skin and fascia & muscle, facial skin is very thin and much more readily accessible. The fact that it's soft and lightly attached to underlying structures, yet reasonably closely attached all the same, means it's easier to pull off than skin from other areas, even for smaller carnivores such as cats. It's also socially significant, even for non-domesticated animals, which may also play a part. |

The flesh of over 9/10ths of King County, WA's (Seattle) "human" demographic should be hunted down, shot, and donated to a local food bank for stray cats, sea gulls, Washington wolves, and ants. |

I'm sticking with the parakeet story. and I also think that she died from choking on a marshmallow. Classic case.

The parts on the face are softer and more tender, so that gets eaten first typically.
