Re: Porsmose Man

You actually have a very nice museum in Copenhagen.

But the one in Stockholm is larger and better... ;)
If you are right, it can only be because you stole big part of our country - and of Norway - in 1658-60

I have never been in Stockholm, but have travelled a lot in "Fjäll Sverige" from Sälen to Abisko and enjoyed it. So the old animosity is almost forgotten.

Yeah, our countries had some big fights during the days.
But now...

The best beer in the world actually comes from Danmark, Carlsberg...

You are right - as long as it is not diluted to get it down at 3.5% But you can of course get the real stuff at "Systembolaget", if you'll pay the price. On the other hand you can buy a lot of beer for the money you save on your cars

Cool find, Kelly, though this reinforces my desire for cremation. In hundreds or thousands or years, I don't want some digging me up and placing my head on a stick in the name of archaeology.

Re: Porsmose Man

Interesting find, Kelly. It is nice to have our small country featured

I would have supplemented with a couple of those nice preserved girls found in bogs in the bronzeage, but I couldn't get the pictures off that fucking website

And a bit of information: Should you ever come to Copenhagen (there might be a good chance, as the city is overcrowded with wealthy american cruise tourists in the summer), you could easily spend a rainy day - they are plenty - in the national museum. There is no entrance fee, so it is much cheaper - and much more interesting - than shopping
Sounds like an interesting place to visit one day :)
Being from the UK I'm used to spending rainy days in museums lol

Ok - thought you were american. But I'm sure you are welcome in the museum anyway. And rainy days are plenty - we usually get your weather secondhand
