Re: Poor Old Bicycle Guy

This is why I don't ride my bike very often, even though they say riding a bike is good for the environment and good exercise.

I think it has something to do with Buddhism. I know a Laotian family that put a similar "wrist rope" on a new born son.

Re: Poor Old Bicycle Guy

Maybe different from this, but I had some Hindu friends when living in asia who used to wear a string around their wrist which had been dipped in the river ganges which is a holy river in their religion.

I dont know if this may be something similar

Re: Poor Old Bicycle Guy

yes I was also confused, I ride a bicycle myself and have come of it several times but that never happens to me... my guess he was drunk and when he fell he ust didnt put his hands out in front of him. may habe been going quite fast and clipped the side with his pedals, lost ballance and fell over with his face onto that concrete edge.... I just believe he was drunk as otherwise i imagine hge would have made more effort to catch himself with something other than his face

Re: Poor Old Bicycle Guy

I saw this on another site. They said it was a gang related drive-by shooting.
