no, that middle pic is number 1. the bottom pic is number 2. and in the top photo the gas & electric worker climbs up the pole during daylight hours after they have shut off the electricity, it's pic number 3. so, it doesn't appear that he has died at all.
The changes in lighting is the camera trying to adjust itself to the bright flashes from the human fireball and the eploding transformer thingy. This guy was some seriously burnt toast.
