Policeman Shot Dead in Mexico
A special forces unit was deployed to search a location in Xochipala, Mexico on the 5th September 2018 along with federal police and members of the Mexican army. The police were attacked, one was killed and five others injured when approximately 50 heavily armed assailants fired upon them. The police repelled the attackers who fled the scene and set fire to five vehicles to block any pursuit.
